If you have friends or family coming to visit the Seattle area, I highly recommend sending them to Hotel Interurban to stay (conveniently located approximately 4 miles from Seattle Tacoma International Airport) and to try out their brand new restaurant, Rendition!
The name says it all – experience their renditions of classic American cuisine that highlight the bounty of the Pacific Northwest and unique offerings from independent producers, whether it be in their contemporary dining room featuring trailing foliage and conversation sparking artwork (trust me, you will be staring at the art scrolling on the tv screens and want to find out who the artist is), or their chic outdoor patio with warm firepits and twinkling lights.
I recently had the chance to visit for a sneak peek media preview to try out some of the menu items, and after posting some of the photos on my personal Instagram page, I already have one friend (at the time of this writing) who plans to visit on Friday before she flies home to Philadelphia on Saturday! Everything was absolutely delicious on the menu, the wait staff were incredibly friendly, the ambience was everything and now I want to stay a night at Hotel Interurban just to eat at Rendition again!
