With my job that pays the bills, I’m on video calls all day long. I can definitely tell you that Zoom fatigue (or in our case, Google Meets, because we use the Google platform for everything), is REAL!!!

When this comes in the mail, you know it’s going to be something fun!

However, when Still Spa at The Woodmark approached me about attending a virtual spa event, my interest piqued and I said yes! And thankfully I did, because it was one of the most fun video calls I have ever been on!

The makings of a fun night!

Their Spring Flings & Spa Things Virtual Event promised to be a relaxing night in and I invited my roommate and fellow Lesley & Mishana Show co-host, Mishana, to join me!

The box is filled with goodies!

I received my adorable Still Spa beauty box the day before the event, equipped with a facial and cocktail kit. The kit included WithCo Agave Margarita Mix (16oz), Lipid Cleanser (0.5oz), Caviar Lime & Passionfruit Enzyme Mask (1oz), Marshmallow Whip Hydrating Mask (1oz), Vitamin C Reversal Serum (3mL), Post Peel Balm (0.5oz), Circadia Branded Brush, and Circadia Branded Headband.

Cocktail prep!

On Tuesday evening, with our laptop set up on a box of La Croix, a ring light to make us look a little better sans makeup, and our salt-rim margaritas ready for sipping – it was time!

We heard directly from a Still Spa master esthetician and partners from Circadia and Eminence Organic Skin Care on what each of the products were and how/when to apply them in our skincare routine. While applying each product onto our faces, Eminence went through why ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin C, Retinol and Mineral SPF were so important for our skin. Circadia discussed how they utilize our body’s own circadian rhythm to help stimulate skin repair while we sleep. Both companies have so many great products to try and their experts were very knowledgeable and answered any questions the fellow viewers and I had. They also had a raffle and I happened to be one of the winners – I’ll be receiving some incredible skincare products and a mug!

It’s showtime!

I hope that Still Spa hosts another virtual or in-person (COVID restrictions-willing) spa day this summer, I definitely plan to invite my friends to join me! Who wouldn’t want a box of goodies to arrive at your doorstep and a chance to wind down with some self-care knowledge and a margarita!

When a video call includes margaritas and skin care treatment, it’s a win win!

Are you ready for your own spa day? The spa is currently open and following strict safety protocols, so call before you go for all the details! You can also follow Woodmark Hotel & Still Spa on Instagram to stay up-to-date on all the latest news and offerings!
