Just Between Friends (JBF), the nation’s leading pop-up retail maternity and children’s consignment sale, is ready to open their doors to the community. A recent mandate restricting the use of “event venues” put big question mark on whether JBF would make their bi-annual sale happen. Luckily, with the help of the City of Issaquah, a new venue location was secured. This announcement came as good news to those parents who are struggling to make ends meet in the current times.
The Governor’s office issued a new guidance that restricts nearly all indoor activities at misc. venues, such as event centers. Unfortunately, this made the Pickering Barn no longer a viable option to hold the sale at. Good news came just in time, when Courtney was notified that the City of Issaquah was able to secure a retail venue to move into. “I am just so thankful that the City of Issaquah, specifically Jera Gilmore and Jen Davies Hayes, went above and beyond the call of duty to make this last-minute venue change possible” said Courtney Evans, the franchise owner of Just Between Friends of Issaquah. “JBF is 100% community driven, and so many local families are suffering at the hand of COVID-19, if we can do ANYTHING to ease their way, we need to be doing it. Just Between Friends is a retail pop-up shop on the surface, but deep down, we are so much more than that!”
The Just Between Friends of Issaquah pop-up consignment sale is open to everyone. JBF offers pretty much anything you might need to raise a child. From clothing and baby equipment, to backyard toys and DVDs, to books and crafting supplies, Just Between Friends provides a safe, convenient and well-organized shop that is eagerly anticipated all year long.
“Just Between Friends makes it possible for families to do more with what they have,” said Courtney Evans. “JBF helps more than 260,000 moms and dads across the US make money on their children’s outgrown and unused items, so that they are able to purchase what they need for the next season to come. Children do not stop growing just because of a tough economy.”
