Starline Luxury Coaches recently launched two new shuttle services this summer to bring visitors to Washington’s premier wine destination. The luxury coaches, fittingly named “Woodinville Wine Express” and “Woodinville Cellar Hopper,” will offer wine enthusiasts an easy, direct way to get in and around Woodinville, beginning this month.

“We understand that transportation can be a big barrier for people wanting to visit Woodinville, and because of that we are so thrilled to offer these new shuttles to the public,” said Sandra Lee, executive director of the Woodinville Wine Country Association. “Whether your cruise ship is in port for just a few days or you’re a local and you want to save yourself the headache of driving, these shuttles are for everyone.”

Woodinville Wine Country is a thriving, winemaking community just 30 minutes outside Seattle. From industrial warehouses to sprawling historic châteaus, the area offers more than 118 unique tasting rooms serving wine from every appellation in the state – it’s 13 wine regions in one zip code.

The details of the two shuttles, offered by Starline Luxury Coaches, are as follows:

  • The Woodinville Wine Express offers visitors transportation to and from Woodinville, with designated pickup and drop-off locations in downtown Seattle, at cruise ship piers 66 and 91, and in other areas. The service will be offered May 17–September 29, 2019, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Pricing and schedule information will be available soon.
  • The Cellar Hopper offers a “hop-on, hop-off” shuttle service between Woodinville Wine Country’s various districts, tasting rooms and points of interest. For $20 per person, visitors can utilize the shuttle throughout the day and store their wine purchases on board. The Cellar Hopper will run a continuous loop, with pickup and drop-off locations at 20 wineries. The shuttle is offered May 17–September 29, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (beginning in October, the Cellar Hopper will only be available on Saturdays). Tickets must be purchased on mobile devices or online in advance.

There are two passes to choose from “Hurray for Hollywood” and “Red Road Trip,” each offering a guided itinerary with four winery stops. The passes, only $40, are the perfect solution for those who want to explore Woodinville Wine Country but do not know where to begin.
