After opening six successful locations in Washington since November 2015, The Habit Burger Grill continues to build momentum and expand throughout the state with the opening of its newest location in Northwest Seattle at The Terminal at Ballard shopping center on August 22, 2018.
If you have never had the chance to try out Habit, you are running out of excuses as they continue their Pacific Northwest expansion! In addition to their newest home in Seattle, you can try out their delicious Charburgers in Issaquah, Kent, Tukwila, Silverdale, Shoreline and Tacoma!
Prior to opening, the Seattle location partnered with two local non-profits, The World is Fun and the Boys & Girls Club of King County, for the fundraising events. Each non-profit received 100% of the proceeds raised at their respective events to put towards their amazing causes. The World is Fun strives to get people involved in giving back to the Seattle Community. They work with more than 135 Seattle-based non-profit partners and organize group volunteer opportunities that are fun, social and help these organizations fulfill their missions. The Boys & Girls Club works to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. They value integrity, respect, accountability, collaboration and excellence and promise to show up every day to prove every kid has what it takes.
The Habit’s menu features items such as the Charburger, a fresh 100 percent fresh ground beef patty chargrilled over an open flame and served with fresh tomato, caramelized onions, mayonnaise, pickle and lettuce on a toasted bun, along with the Portabella Char, Teriyaki Char, BBQ Bacon Char and Santa Barbara Char which includes fresh avocado and is served on sourdough bread. Seafood lovers can enjoy the widely popular Chargrilled Tuna, a sandwich complete with a line-caught, sushi-grade Ahi tuna steak. Other can’t miss items include salads like the Santa Barbara Cobb or the Superfood Salad with baby kale, quinoa, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, Craisins® and feta cheese. On the side, guests can order French fries, onion rings, sweet potato fries or tempura green beans accompanied by a variety of handcrafted shakes and malts. No need to stop there, guests can continue layering on the flavor by selecting additional toppers from the complimentary condiment bar, which features an assortment of peppers, limes, lemons and a range of sauces for added kick. All menu items are made-to-order using fresh ingredients.
The Habit Burger Grill currently operates more than 230 restaurants across 11 states, coast to coast, and welcomes the newest 2,084 sq. ft. Ballard location, which seats 58 guests inside and 24 outside. The restaurant is the seventh of the Washington franchise, with several additional locations set to roll out across the state before 2020.
