LEGO® fans of all ages rejoice! Bellevue Square is one of the exclusive stops of the LEGO® Americana Roadshow – Building Across America.
When you visit, you’ll be able to walk around the shopping center and see five iconic, historic landmarks – no cross-country travel required. The Liberty Bell, The Jefferson Memorial, The White House, The Statue of Liberty and The Supreme Court – have all been designed and built especially for the roadshow by LEGO Master Builders.
Yes, we learned that Master Builders really do exist! And there are only seven people who are designated Master Builders in the United States.
We also learned that no Kragle was used on the displays – but the displays were glued and carefully transported across the country.
The LEGO displays are located all around the shopping center. Be sure to pick up a map with more details and trivia to learn about each landmark.
There’s also opportunities for aspiring Master Builders to have some hands on building time during the roadshow.
On August 11th and 12th come between 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and you can participate in a FREE “Make and Take” event. There’s a special gift that will be available until supplies last.
And there’s a wonderful hands-on play area for big and little kids to build and play during your visit.
