The Pawan Public School is a school that is helping rural children obtain education in an English medium. Everyday, the teachers are striving to deliver the quality of education that is at par with any privileged city school. Their achievements are the shining example of their hard work. To enhance the quality of education further, and to reach many more students with this model of education, they need a good and safe school building that they can call their own. They want to build a new building and move from the current one which is in dilapidated condition. For this purpose, Asha for Education has approved a one-time funding of $ 30,000. With the help of other donors, the school is raising 2 crore rupees (approximately $320,000 USD) to build the first phase of new school building.
