Blitz, the Sea Gals, Blue Thunder and a special Seattle Seahawks player will all make an appearance during the evening in support of saving our four legged friends!

Seattle-based Saving Great Animals (SGA) is a federal 501(c)3 registered charity and match-making rescue. They are not a shelter and currently have no public facility.  They are looking to raise funding to build a facility and to continue rescuing animals from all types of situations and finding them forever homes.

SGA works individually to match desires and lifestyle to the best animal pal.  They are volunteer-based and everyone in the rescue works full time at paying careers.  SGA has been working tirelessly as a no-kill, foster-based rescue for the last 10 years. In 2007, SGA became an official member of Petfinder and is now working with a wide network of foster homes and numerous shelters around the state to find permanent homes for animals that are deserving of love and a family. Many of the dogs and cats they rescue would otherwise face unnecessary euthanasia. To date, they have rescued over 6000 animals .

They also work hard to bring dogs and cats into SGA directly from their former home so the animals will never enter the shelter system.
