The event started with an OTF class. For the newbies, OTF uses heart rate monitored training designed to maintain a target zone that stimulates metabolism and increases energy and the real-time results are displayed in class. Keeping your heart rate in the orange zone burns more calories and can keep burning calories for up to 36 hours post workout. Uhhh yes, please! It’s incredibly individualized and I highly recommend OTF to anyone either looking to get into fitness or wanting to take your fitness to the next level.
Post class, Zico Coconut Water provided refreshments (check out the chocolate coconut water – it’s delish) and I got to talk to the Mattress Firm representative. There are so many new technologies being used to help improve sleep. The pillows they had are what dreams are made of. It automatically adjusted to your spinal alignment and stayed cool to touch.
The Work Hard Sleep Hard event brought together some of my favorite activities: sleeping and a killer sweat session.
