Join Mighty-O Donuts this Friday, September 15, as they celebrate the opening of their newest location at the South Lake Union/Denny Triangle area on Boren Avenue.
Mighty-O, owned by Ryan Kellner and his wife, Megan Helmer, is known city-wide for its delicious made-from-scratch, organic donuts for everyone – dairy and egg free – with unique flavors like French Toast, Apple Fritter and Raspberry Riot, plus fresh brewed coffee drinks using Caffe Vita beans. The café will also serve Puget Sound Kombucha and Molly’s Prepared Foods.
Mighty-O is on a mission to make the world a better place through donuts. Operating in a caring and conscientious way, the company’s commitment to sustainability and its community is demonstrated through its support of farmers, achieving zero waste, donating all leftovers to the homeless, and alliances with Food Lifeline and local schools. For locals, who appreciate the same values of fully enjoying life and conducting business in an authentically positive way, Mighty-O is more than donuts.
Mighty-O is giving the first four dozen customers (to coincide its fourth location) in the door a free prize plus a chance to enter a raffle drawing where three winners will be selected (at random) to receive one free donut every week for a year, valued at $130.
All donut sales from the day will be donated to YouthCare to benefit the Orion Center. The mission of YouthCare is to build confidence and self-sufficiency for homeless youth by providing a continuum of care that includes outreach, basic services, emergency shelter, housing, counseling, education, and employment training.
